Herbert Tredwin

(1887 -1939) was born in Wellington the son of Francis Tredwin and Anne Marria Tredwin (nee Cording) and followed his father into the building trade. He married Ada Caroline Beer (1884-1974), who was born on the Isle of Wight. Herbert and Ada emigrated to Canada with his brother Earnest. This was because a friend of Ada's by the name of Langstaff, reported that there was work available. She knew an artist from the Isle of Wight who went to Ontario so was quite keen to move to Canada.
